Corey D. Boddie is the founding partner of Boddie & Associates, P.C. in New York City. Corey is an entertainment attorney specializing in the areas of music, fashion, film and television. The law firm specializes in Immigration, Entertainment and Corporate Financial Services.

Corey is also a hedge fund consultant specializing in entertainment investing. He has consulted several hedge funds, along with venture capitalists and private investors. His investment strategies, as well as his longstanding relationships with directors, producers, executives, movie, video and music distributors have been proven to be very lucrative to his clients.

In 2003, Corey was profiled on “Celebrity Justice” and “Entertainment Tonight” with regards to a highly publicized multimillion-dollar copyright/trademark infringement case against the “Osbourne Family” and Sony Music Entertainment. In 2006, he was apart of the legal team regarding copyright infringement against Beyonce Knowles. In 2007, he was represented “Ginuwine” in a multimillion dollar breach of contract case profiled by AP. In addition, Corey has appeared as a panelist on a number of entertainment education conferences as a specialist in the field of entertainment law.

His client roster includes: Oscar-nominated director Josh Raskin; Jennifer Williams from VH1’s “Basketball Wives”; Jermaine Dupri’s film company Visionary Media, LLC, Nokio of R&B group Dru Hill, Lady Bug Mecca-formerly of Grammy Award Winning group-Digable Planets, chart-topping reggae artists Wayne Wonder, Bad Boy recording artists Black Rob and MTV’s “Da Band” E. Ness, Grammy nominated songwriter “Taj” Jackson, and many other stars in the entertainment world.  Mr. Boddie was appointed as General Counsel to the Manhattan Short Film Festival, one of the largest short film festivals in the world.
